Family Style Care
Faithful Heart Foundation is not a typical orphanage. We love family and believe that families are God’s model for human development and flourishing. Our foundation is composed of several small orphan family homes with up to 5 orphan children in each home. We love seeing Thai, Christian couples who have a heart for children, welcoming these children not only into their homes, but into their families. Our house parents are dedicated to these children; they care for them and love them every day, and as the Lord wills, for many years.
Successful orphan care is when children no longer feel like orphans, but sons and daughters.
Our children are primarily from the rural Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand. These tribes are ethnically unique, with their own languages and cultures. Hill Tribe people typically struggle due to lack of access to resources and often face prejudice and discrimination in employment, education, health care, and housing. Many children are orphaned from the effects of poverty, or their families are targeted by predatory lenders and human traffickers, putting them at risk.
I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
