Hello Dear Friends,
Labor Day is, “a yearly tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of the country”. Today we can also appreciate the hard work being done in Faithful Heart ministries. “Do your best to live a quiet life. Learn to do your own work well. By doing this, you will be respected by those who are not Christians.” (1 Thess 4:11-12)
The house fathers received special “fire emergency” training, and then gathered all the children for a day of safety training. Here Adjan Wep, of Home of Promise is explaining how to use a fire extinguisher. “I will teach you what is good and right for you to do. Obey the Lord and serve him faithfully with all your heart.” (1 Sam 12:23-4)
Hmong watches as Raina bravely takes her turn using a fire extinguisher—pretty exciting stuff!
“All you who put your hope in the LORD be strong and brave.” (Psalm 31:24)
Our families love to grow fruits and vegetables; it is work that yields delicious rewards. Here you see bananas and mangos. “Give honor to the Lord with your wealth, and with the first-fruits of your harvest.” (Prov 3:9)
May God bless all the workers today. Blessed is the Lord who gives us life and work.
Grace and peace to you,
